Deleting Channels from the Yaesu FT-400 - Clarification

 Steps to delete channels from Yaesu FT-400. 

1) Press V/M for 2-3 seconds - and lift your finger between 2-3 seconds.  If you hold your finger on it past the 2-3 second mark, the screen will change to a screen-edit mode allowing you to select/edit the buttons visible at the bottom of the touchscreen.  The key is to lift your finger before it switches to the editing the screen mode, but between 2-3 seconds. (The manual and everything I've found online omits this critical detail).

2) The screen will switch to your memory channel screen. 

3) Select the channel you wish to delete using the knob on the right. 

4) Press "Del" at the bottom - Delete. 

5) When it asks if you wish to delete it, press "Okay" 

6) The channel will be deleted.
